Our store was established in 1988 and as a family owned business we are well aware of the hardships one endures to succeed. From working all night to complete repairs to doing remodeling and waiting on customers during business hours and going weeks on end without a pay check. Our store would not fail. In those early days our entire family pulled together to ensure it's success. For myself I have 38 years experience as a jeweler and a watchmaker. Between all of us at N. Smith we total of 91 years experience in the trade. After 5 years at our original location of 1100 sq feet total we moved across the street to our present location of over 5300 sq feet. We spent the next 17 years remodeling and up grading our beautiful building. (circa 1894) Nine of those years were spent remodeling our 1800 sq. foot apartment upstairs. We are very proud of not only our beautiful store and our ever growing business but our trusted employees as well.
